for everyone
Last Thursday was TechCrunch's NYC meetup. Multiply was a sponsor which meant Dave, Peter, and myself had the opportunity to demo our product for about 4 hours straight. It was interesting because unlike other trade shows and conferences, this was a 7pm to 11pm open bar party. By 10:30 we were like "Multiply is the best fu%$in' way to share." Just kidding. Well, it is. But we maintained our professionalism.

Clearly, this irrational extravagance is a sign that we're in a bubble.

These were the guys from a company called Fleck who were using the event to announce the launch of their product. Rather than collect business cards, they were asking people to write their e-mails on their suits (look closely).

I thought it was a great gimmick. Besides being very noticeable by everyone at the event itself, anybody who took a few pictures at the event wound up taking one with the guys in the white suits...leading to more subsequent on-line coverage.

Yeah, I caught that. Seems like a cool, memorable idea.

My apologies for trying to be funny. Won't happen again. :)
