|  | Well, it's been a little over a year and a half since I last posted additions to my shot glass collection (which, not coincidentally, is a little more than Charlie's age). A little over a month ago I started gradually taking the pictures, uploading to Multiply, and adding comments. Phew. Going forward I must do a better job doing that as I get them.
For those not aware, I've been casually collecting shot glasses for about 15 years now. I say casually because a majority of the collection at this point has probably been "donated" from friends and family. People sending me glasses in this update include G.J., Kayt, Babs, Jodi, Andre', Pez, Balazs, and Vilius.
THANKS EVERYONE.

| | The collection keeps growing. As you can see I am now in the 400's. Many thanks to all those that contribute. Of course, if you did contribute any of these glasses please reply with comments about how and where you picked up the glass. Did you pick-pocket another tourist or just plain shop-lift? Did you miss your flight waiting in line at the airport gift shop? Let us know.

| | For those of you that don't know, I've been collecting shot glasses for the past 15 years or so and my collection is approaching 400. As you'll see from some of the comments with each glass, they are an interesting representation of places I, or my friends and family, have been.
Unfortunately most of my collection is packed up in cartons pending my permanent or even semi-permanent settling down. It is such a huge effort to unwrap and wrap that it isn't worth doing at this point. At some point I'll photograph my whole collection, but for now only my recent additions and new additions as they come in.
If you've donated any of the glasses pictures please add a comment letting me (and everybody) know the circumstances in which you got the glass. And of course, thanks for the dontation. |
